Global Manufacturing Platform & IT/OT Convergence

Role: Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect

The Challenge

The primary objective was to unify diverse manufacturing applications into a single, global infrastructure platform designed to ensure transparency and compliance across a massive global digital transformation. It was critical to bridge the gap between high-level corporate strategy and complex technical execution at the plant level while ensuring seamless integration with existing IT services.

The Solution

Due to the sensitive nature of our work with government and enterprise clients, all service visualizations are AI-assisted conceptualizations. Detailed technical discussions and original blueprints are available only under a signed NDA.


We designed end-to-end product architectures within an MS Azure framework, focusing on the scalability and security of the industrial ecosystem. The solution included:

  • Enterprise Architecture: Steering development teams to ensure strict alignment with Azure cloud standards, including Azure Landing Zones and Azure Policy.
  • IT-OT Convergence: Integrating OT legacy infrastructure with modern cloud services using Azure IoT Hub and Azure Service Bus.
  • Data Orchestration: Implementing robust data management and governance solutions through Microsoft Purview, API Management, and Logic Apps.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Utilizing Terraform for automated deployment and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for scalable application containerization.
  • Strategic Consulting: Providing expert technical consultancy and risk mitigation to business stakeholders to ensure technical excellence aligns with business goals.

The Impact

The project successfully established a digital backbone for global manufacturing plants, delivering:

  • Scalability: A future-proof architecture ready to support a growing number of global production sites.
  • Compliance: Full adherence to Azure cloud standards and corporate security best practices through Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Transparency: A unified manufacturing platform that eliminates data silos and provides real-time visibility into industrial processes.
